2019 Wrap-Up

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year my friends and followers!

I know that I haven’t been very consistent posting recently, and I apologize for that. I know neither my December nor my November #BloggerCheckIn posts went up. I know this is the first post you’ve seen from me in over two months, and I’m sorry. I really have no excuses other than I meant to write them and then somehow couldn’t find the motivation or was too busy working on something else.

2019 was…  quite a year for me to say the least.  A lot of things happened this year. A lot of them very very good, and a lot of them happening within the last few months. I got my first job, started college, finished my very first novella, and a whole host of other things.

November went pretty well I’d have to say.  After all I did start the month off with my birthday! So that was pretty cool. I’m no longer the weird 16 year old college kid. *chuckles*  Other than that, November was pretty standard actually. I was really excited for the release of a couple of new books that I’ve been looking forward to literally all year: Supernova by Marissa Meyer  and Legacy by Shannon messenger.  Yes, you can expect a review of the entire Renegades Trilogy hopefully sometime in the near future. Since the Keeper of the Lost Cities series is not finished, I will not be reviewing that one for quite a while.

I must say,  I don’t remember too much of what happened in November, since when I’m writing this it’s January. 😛  I remember it being… somewhat of an emotional roller coaster. My A&P class got really, really hard as we covered muscles and I kind of started getting really exhausted with all of the things that were bearing down on me from the middle of the semester. ;P Once everything was done though, it was a huge relief.  I was working more hours and I got to start my first round of swim lessons. Teaching, not taking. 😉 My kids were soooo cute! I love them so much. I was actually kind of sad when the lessons were over. And that brings us to…

 December!

December was a good time. Since we were coming to the end of the semester a lot of stuff was happening really quickly. Actually, the end of the semester went really well! I got A’s and all of my classes except for one (I got a B). I’ll have to tell the story of how that happened sometime, but this is not that post.

We also had a wonderful Christmas for the first time in about…  2 or so years we got to go to our favorite vacation spot. I’ve mentioned it before and I’ll say it again; Williamsburg has got to be my favorite place on the planet. I also found out that I could get a job downtown as an apothecary’s apprentice! How cool is that? It’s like something out of a fantasy novel.  It’s kind of a dream come true. So we will have to see how that plays out. ;D

I was also hoping to get my driver’s license by the end of December but, unfortunately, we were having some major issues with the website and as of writing this, I am still driver’s license-less. It’s really kind of annoying.  I really hope to get it done in the new year. My goal was to have it before I started my spring semester, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. I’m really disappointed.

Anyway, it’s about the rest of what happened in 2019! Keep your eyes peeled for a new post on what I’m planning for 2020!

  Happy Holidays!
